Being a cricket freak you might have come across cricketers who have played for two countries in their career. However, there’re such players who had the madness of changing their nationalities suddenly.

Dirk Nannes 

Originally born in Australia, Nannes played domestic cricket in Australia for a long time. However, the Australian selectors were too snub to allow him into the Australian cricket team. That’s when this talented man decided to become a part of the Netherlands team rather than wasting his cricketing skills. Finally, he made his debut in T20 internationals in 2009 from Dutch team.  

Eoin Morgan 

This name is known to all playing fantasy cricket. Although he is a known name among the England cricket team, however previously he started his international career with Ireland which was his home country. Although he was always adored by the team and was doing well, however playing internationals for England’s team was a career building decision for him.  

Roelof van der Merwe 

He was born in Johannesburg and played for South African domestic cricket for a long time. Then suddenly in search for a better exposure, he changed his international debut career and started playing for Australia. He was playing in the ODI team for Australia for a long time. Kepler Wessels 

Wessels was a famous name among the South African cricketers. He captained more than one international during the 1990s. He sported the Baggy Green for a span of 24 Test matches and also played for them in 54 ODIs. Then he became a part of the Australian cricket team for at least 4 years in a row. Fantasy sports was not very relevant at that time. This was the time between 1991 to 1994 and Hansie Cronje another legend took over after the retirement of Wessels.
