But did you know that there are many who leaped from being cricketer to some other sports! They irony is that, they gained immense success by doing so!

This man initially started his career as a cricketer and was planning to pursue the same in long term. But destiny had other plans for him. He is the 2nd Indian to have won the All-England Open Badminton Championship in the year 2001. This extremely talented young man dreamt of becoming a cricketer before he decided to pursue hi career in badminton. Thanks to his stars, that he didn’t become a cricketer. Surely India would have missed out on a brilliant badminton player!  

Subimal Goswami 

Popularly known as Chuni Goswami, this man is a household name among the Indians and Bengalis. Under the one-man leadership of Chuni Goswami, Mohun Bagan won innumerable times in all platforms of World football. However, this multi-talented man had equally brilliant skills when it came to cricket. Since the concept of fantasy cricket was not present during those tines, hence, the achievements of this man were not highlighted. However, even in cricket he led Bengal to Ranji trophy and also was a wicket-taker in first-class matches.  

Neeraj Chopra 

A bit research on world sports shows that this Javelin expert initially had started his career with cricket and later shifted to Javelin at the age of 13 years. In 2016, the golden boy got gold medal for India at the South Asia Games for Javelin. An extremely difficult sport, he deserves equal amount of respect from the Indian fraternity.  

Cotah Ramaswami 

This man has simultaneously played as an international player for two sports namely cricket and tennis. In the year 1922 he played on behalf of India in the Davis cup and in 1936 he played against England. So, you can clearly say that this man is a Jack of all trades and master of all as well!
