The first T20I between India and West Indies played in Florida on Aug. 27, 2016 has the highest number of sixes being hit in a T20 match. While the Caribbean side struck 21 sixes, the Indians were successful in sending the ball over the ropes on 11 occasions, taking the overall count to 32 in the encounter. The previous record of 30 sixes was set in a game between Ireland and Netherlands in 2014.
