Cricket appearance in Olympics
Cricket has only ever appeared in the Olympic Games twice. The first time was in 1896 in Athens; but, there had not enough teams to compete hence the competition never happened. Once again, in 1900, cricket reappears in the Paris Olympics but just 2 teams were able to compete.
Geoff Boycott was the first cricketer to face a ball in the one day cricket history. The bowler was Graham McKenzie.

Century using a borrowed bat
The epic 1996 37-ball century of Shahid Afridi, the fastest in one-day history at the time, actually scored off using the borrowed bat of Waqar Younis!
A special style of dismissal is in trend at the cricket matches. The style is known as Mankad, named after Indian bowler Vinod Mankad.
