ODI is one of the most popular versions of cricket that every fantasy cricket lover is fond of. In terms of batting, wickets and run-rates, ODIs definitely tops the list. 50 overs are enough for a team to show the skills. Getting a half-century or a 50 is not a rare thing in ODI cricket. Thus, there’ve been lots of records on the same where many batsmen have scored the 50s for their different teams. 

Among them, Indian cricket team has been in the leading upfront. Some of the notable mentions in this list are Yuvraj Singh, Rahul Dravid, Virendra Sehwag and a new addition Krunal Pandya. Online fantasy game players love this kind of performance because such brilliant strike rates help them to move up the ladder!

Although there’s a list of legendary Indian players in this list, however Krunal Pandya deserves a special mention since he is till date the only Indian cricketer to have scored 50 runs out of 26 balls as a debutant in ODI. In 1990 John Morris was the other debutant who has set this record, but Pandya overtook him and made the runs in 26 balls whereas Morris had used 35 balls to reach half-century.  

Ajit Agarkar 

Technically should be the top of the list, Agarkar got 67 runs out of 39 balls in which the half-cenury was scored within 21balls! Although this incident happened nearly 20 years ago in Rajkot when there was no concept of fantasy cricket leagues, however the likes of Agarkar till date is being recalled by all cricket lovers!  

Yuvraj Singh 

In a 3-match series between India and Bangladesh, when the Indian cricket fans were devasted by the loss of India against Bangladesh in match 1, Yuvraj Singh came as a life -saver. In the 2nd match within 22 balls, this maestro managed to score 50 runs. Although he was dismissed at 69 runs, however his high run rate within such short period made India win the match with 91 runs! That’s the reason Yuvraj Singh has always been a favorite name for fantasy sports lovers!  

Rahul Dravid 

The most dependable player of Indian cricket team, Dravid was well-known for his ability to play calmly and get the team out of any tricky situations. In the match where Dravid managed to get 50 from 22 balls, the big names like Sehwag and Tendulkar has managed to score 130 and 102 each. But when Dravid walked into the game in the 44th over, cricket fans were assured of the win of India. 5 fours and 3 sixes marked India’s way into the TVS cup. Bad luck for the ones who play fantasy cricket now. There’s no replacement for Dravid.
