IPL Fantasy Cricket Teams Overview – Sunrisers Hyderabad

Hello IPL fantasy cricket lovers! This is going to be our last instalment of introducing the teams to our readers. And in this post, we are going to give you the overview of Sunrisers Hyderabad!

Sunrisers Hyderabad has been founded in 2012 and they have started participating in the IPL T20 cricket game from 2013. They have replaced the Deccan Chargers. They have reached two finals of the IPL and have won one.

SRH is a consistent team in IPL T20 fantasy and has debatably the best bowling attack currently. After the wait of three years, they have been crowned as the IPL champions in 2016.

The Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium is their home ground.  The Sunrisers Hyderabad has a huge fan base even though it is a relatively new team in the IPL fantasy league. “Orange Army” is the name given to the team before IPL 2017 season.

2013: The SRH team participated first in the sixth IPL season and lost in the eliminator match.

2014: The team has reached the 6th position in the league stage in the seventh IPL edition.

2015: At the eighth IPL edition, SRH has reached to the 6th position in the league stage.

2016: SRH has won the trophy and becomes the champions for the first time during the ninth edition of the tournament.

2017: The team has lost in the eliminator at the tenth IPL edition.

2018: The team has become the runners-up during the eleventh edition.

Batting performance of SRH at IPL fantasy cricket T20

SRH has scored 209/3 against KKR during IPL 2017 as their highest innings total.

The team has scored113 all out against MI in IPL 2015 as their lowest innings total.

David Warner has scored 2579 runs, the highest runs by any SRH player.

Again, David Warner has scored 126 against KKR in IPL 2017, the highest individual score, by any SRH player.

David Warner has hit 26 half-centuries, the highest by any SRH player.

In IPL 2016, David Warner has scored848 runs, the maximum by any SRH player in a single IPL season.

Bowling performance of SRH at IPL fantasy cricket T20

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has taken 96 wickets, the highest wickets taken by any SRH player.

Again, Bhuvneshwar Kumar records 5/19 against KXIP during IPL 2017, the best bowling performance by an SRH player

In IPL 2017, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has taken 26 wickets, the maximum wickets taken by an SRH player in a single IPL season.

Wicketkeeping performance of SRH at IPL fantasy cricket T20

Naman Ojha has dismissed 38 players (Ct – 36, St – 2), the maximum dismissals by any SRH wicket-keeper.

In IPL 2016, Naman Ojha has dismissed 4 players(Ct – 4)against Mumbai Indians, the maximum dismissals by any SRH wicket-keeper in an innings.

In IPL 2016, Naman Ojha has dismissed 18 players(Ct – 18), the maximum in a single season of IPL by any SRH wicket-keeper.

Fielding performance of SRH at IPL fantasy cricket T20

Shikhar Dhawan has taken 38 catches, the highest by any SRH player.

Cameron White in IPL 2013against Pune Warriors India, Deepak Hooda in IPL 2017against KXIP, Rashid Khanin IPL 2017against KKR& Manish Pandey in IPL 2018against KKR has taken 3 catches.

12 catches taken by Shikhar Dhawan in IPL 2018 is the most number of catches taken by an SRH player in a single edition of IPL.

In IPL 2018, Shikhar Dhawan has taken 12 catches, the highest by any SRH player in a single IPL season.
