CSK is an excellent team which usually has succeeded to get to the playoffs in each and every IPL they have played. Numerous say it’s because of MS Dhoni that CSK has a great deal success but there are numerous stars in the CSK franchise. CSK has won the title thrice, including the last season, the third time.

Best Batsman – Suresh Raina

Raina has scored more runs in IPL T20 fantasy cricket games than any other cricketer. He had under no circumstances been left out of a single match for CSK until the last season, IPL 2018 when he couldn’t play for one game as a result of an injury. But steadiness has always been there with him. He has not failed to deliver the best during tough circumstances and he will almost always remain one of the best players for CSK. Suresh Raina is the middle-order batsman for the team and a left-handed batsman for the team.

Best All-rounder – Dwayne Bravo

The big man, Dwayne Bravo is one of the best all-rounders in the history of IPL fantasy cricket and for team Chennai Super Kings. Always economical with the ball, he is always ready to hit the ball over the boundary. Bravo is a right-handed batsman and also he is a right-arm medium-fast bowler.

Best Bowling – Ravindra Jadeja

With the records set by Jadeja in the previous IPL season, he can be the best in this season. All the IPL fantasy cricket fans hope that he stays in his form and put the IPL field on fire with his bowling. And the fans also hope, he crosses his own set record of 5/16 against Deccan Chargers in IPL 2012.

Best Wicket keeping – MS Dhoni

We have a last but not the last name in this list, captain cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni. One of the world’s best finisher, he is a great wicket-keeper as well and also one of the most successful captains in International and domestic cricket. No doubt, CSK is so much success with captain Dhoni. Whatever is impossible becomes possible and whatever is possible becomes impossible, when there is Mahendra Singh Dhoni!

Chennai Super Kings is the best team or we can say franchise in the history of T20 cricket game. Since the advent of this T20 series, the team is giving a treat of good performance to the fans. They are the team qualifying for all the playoffs in all the seasons they have been playing. The team has won the IPL title for 3 times and has been the runner-ups for 4 times. IPL 2018 title has been won by CSK. They have made a great comeback last year, after getting suspended on 2016 and 2017 consecutively for being involved in spot-fixing.

M.A Chidambaram Stadium, also known as “Chepauk” is the home ground of Chennai Super Kings. They have also used JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi a few times for their home matches.

Do you know that the team has fans all over India, especially the southern part and has their own song, “Whistle Podu.” This fan-made song is quite prominent in their home state. The team’s captain M.S Dhoni is a hero and favourite of the all the IPL fantasy cricket fans.

Suresh Raina has scored 4986 runs as it is the most number of runs scored by a CSK player.

Murali Vijay has scored 127 runs against Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2010, the highest individual score by a CSK player.

The CSK players have hit 9 centuries in total. The list includes AmbatiRayudu (100*), Brendan McCullum (100*), Suresh Raina (109* & 100*), Michael Hussey (116*), Shane Watson (117* & 106) and Murali Vijay (127 & 113).

Raina has scored 34 half-centuries, the maximum number of half-centuries struck by a CSK player.

Michael Hussey has scored 733 runs in IPL 2013, the maximum runs scored by a CSK player in a single edition of IPL.

Bowling Performance in IPL Fantasy League:

Ashwin has taken 120 wickets, the maximum by any CSK player.

Ravindra Jadeja has the best individual bowling performance for the team against Deccan Chargers in IPL 2012, 5/16.

3 five-wicket hauls have been taken by CSK players. The list has Ravindra Jadeja (5/16), Pawan Negi (5/22) & Lakshmipathy Balaji (5/24).

Dwayne Bravo has taken 32 wickets in IPL 2013, maximum taken by CSK player in a single edition of IPL.

Performance in wicket keeping:

MS Dhoni records maximum 116 dismissals (Ct – 79, St – 37) as CSK wicket-keeper.

Dhoni records 4 dismissals against Mumbai Indians in IPL 2011 and Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2013 in an innings.

MS Dhoni has the record of 17 dismissals (Ct – 15, St – 2) in IPL 2013 as CSK wicket-keeper in a single edition of the IPL.

Performance in fielding:

Suresh Raina has taken 96, maximum by a CSK player.

Dwayne Bravo in IPL 2013 has taken 14 catches in a single edition of the IPL.
